The president of the Shiite Waquf office, Sayyed Alaa al-Moussawi, and the accompanying delegation, visited on Friday, April 4, 2015, The General Kashif Al-Getaa Foundation. He was received by the secretary-general of The General Kashif Al-Getaa Foundation Sheikh Abbas  Kashif Al-Getaa and the heads of the departments. Sheikh Abbas Kashif Al-Getaa welcomed the visit of the President of the Waquf, praising the visit and the active role played by the Shiite Awqaf in reviving the Shiite heritage on the one hand, and preserving this rich collection of manuscripts and documents at the Kashif Al-Getaa Foundation related institutions on the other hand. As well as its vital role in the advancement of the Shiite Waquf by returning some of the Shiite documents which the past regime tried to obliterate its identity. His Eminence Sheikh Abbas Kashif Al-Getaa, during his conversation with the President of the Waquf, assured on the need to codify the Waquf according to the requirements of the current reality and what the country is going through. His Eminence added that Najaf was and still is a center for religious and sectarian dialogues and a center for bringing the sects together. At this sensitive time, it is necessary to open dialogue in the light of joint relations with the countries where the Shiite Waquf is an influential representation in this dialogue. His Eminence also talked about the importance of the Shiite Waquf in the presence of international meetings on Awqaf because they promote bilateral relations.

His Eminence Sayyed Alaa Moussawi toured in which he briefed the sections of the Foundation.
